To provide careers advice and guidance to National Careers Service customers using a variety of delivery methods and to support customer through to a job or learning outcome.
£19,064.00 - £24,000.00 per annum - Full time equivalent – This role is based on 0.5 FTE – therefore will be pro rata based on 18.5 hours ( 2.5 days )

To comply with and understand Prospects safeguarding policy and procedures and take action as appropriate in relation to children and vulnerable groups regarding matters of safety, protection and wellbeing.
- Working within community venues predominately covering the Black Country area to include Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton. You will be providing careers advice to adults via a range of methods including face to face, telephone, email and other digital means to help them to achieve work or learning goals.
- Work towards targets which will be initially baselined at 26 CSO’s, 24CMO’s and 13 JLO’s per month, which will be reviewed at 30, 60 and 90 days to assess suitability for the role.
- Support customers to develop career management skills.
- Work with customers to support their progression into, learning or progression into work.
- Develop and maintain a network of referral partners including community and faith organizations.
- Record all interactions with customers on the CRM & MI database in a timely manner to meet contract deadlines.
- Provide KPI performance management updates on a weekly / daily basis.
- Use and contribute to local, regional and national LMI to support customer progression in their career. Meet all standards for quality of service, safeguarding, information and data security, and any other to meet contract requirements.
- Represent and promote ACH / Himilo Training and Prospects Services in a professional and commercial manner, working effectively with other agencies.
- Attend company meetings and training and liaise with staff at all levels.
- Other additional duties commensurate with the level and nature of the post.
- Ensure adherence to the ACH / Himilo Training, code of conduct, equalities and diversity policy and actively embed equality and diversity into careers advice and guidance.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local AEB provision, and utilize PLR and other assessment tools to identify appropriate learning and job outcomes.
- Experience in delivery of careers advice to adults, individually or in groups, employed and unemployed (or similar environment for trainee roles).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High level of competency, effective operation and use of ICT including its wider application e.g. use of social media.
- Skilled and competent in delivering careers advice in a range of settings and through a range of delivery modes.
- Able to work as part of a Prospects National Careers Service delivery team.
- Well organised, capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing own time effectively.
- Flexibility to work in different outreach locations.
- Able to work flexible hours at evenings and weekends when required.
- Able to work in a target driven environment, and ability to meet or exceed contract targets.

Education & Qualifications (Essential)
- Educated to graduate level or equivalent.
- Willing to undertake professional training / qualifications to maintain standards.
- Hold, as a minimum, Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice or NVQ 4 in Advice & Guidance or equivalent, or be willing to work towards this qualification which must be completed within 6 months of appointment to the post.
Other Requirements (Essential)
- Full driving license, own car and must be willing to travel
