Introduction to the course

The Housing/Property Management Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship is aimed at those working in the property sector in supporting of tenancies in both the supported and private housing sectors. Learners will develop their knowledge in core areas: administrative functions, legislation, and regulation requirements.

Learner outcomes

The learner will be taught about the different tools and equipment available for those in the industry that are relevant to
the organisation. Examples include preparing paperwork for service charges, supporting consultations and undertaking customer surveys, undertaking neighbourhood and property surveys using checklists the learner will be taught data administration, how to conduct supervised viewings and negotiations, handling telephone calls, filing and scanning, arranging meetings and events. Housing / property management assistants work closely with colleagues to explore solutions to problems and improvements to ways of working.

Assessment

The learner’s progress will be assessed through on-programme learning, followed by an End-Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship. Apprentices will need to complete Level 1 English and Mathematics before the End-Point Assessment.
