Refugee and BAME training courses overview
In 2014 Himilo was set up as a training subsidiary to ACH to deliver short, vocational training courses in Bristol and the West Midlands. In 2017 careers advice was added to our offering, through contracts with the National Careers Service (NCS) and Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG).
In 2018 ACH/Himilo was approved as an Apprenticeship provider, and we are now delivering Property Maintenance Apprenticeships in Bristol and the West Midlands.
In 2018 we also began our first employer partnerships, and now work directly with a number of employers to source them staff from the refugee and BAME communities we serve.
All training courses and education programs start with assessing the learners to make sure they are put on the correct career path.
