Free career advice

Our National Careers Service team offer free careers advice to our tenants and the wider community. ACH were the first organisation to provide this service into inner city Bristol, and now also offer it in the West Midlands.

First Buses

First Bus Training Program

We are working in partnership with First West of England to run training courses for recruitment in the Bristol area. A fantastic opportunity to work with First Bus as a driver and earn £24k and above. 

Job Club

Bristol Weekly Job Club

Every week we run 2 Job Club sessions at our Training Room in St Pauls. The Job Club runs at 2pm - 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These sessions are designed to help the local community with their job searches, providing CV help, job application guidance and more. No need to book, just walk-in!

Apprenticeships

Property Maintenance Apprenticeship

Learners will be supported to achieve a Property Maintenance Certificate with their existing or a new employer.

Starbucks employment support program

ACH are providing pre-employment training courses and one-to-one support to selected candidates followed by guaranteed job interviews for Barista roles within Starbucks stores across Bristol and Birmingham.

CodeDoor refugee coding program

ACH have partnered with CodeDoor, a company providing scholarships in coding to refugees, migrants and women. ACH are the first UK partner to come on board with this CodeDoor training, which is running in Birmingham.

All of our upcoming education programs for refugees are listed here, delivered at our four UK training centres in Bristol, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Smethwick. This includes our weekly job club, First Bus training course and IAG certificate (Information, Advice & Guidance).
