Go Digital Graduates Celebration

Celebrating our Go Digital Graduates

We are proud to celebrate the graduation of 15 incredible women from Cohort 1 and 2 of our Go Digital course. The students have dedicated 10 weeks to learning digital skills, gaining confidence, and preparing for future job opportunities. Witnessing every student complete their course successfully is truly inspiring and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement.

"This course is a great chance for you to improve your basic digital skills, boost your CV, open doors to new opportunities, socialise, and get to know each other”

The Go Digital course (NOCN Entry 3) was designed to help women build digital skills, improve employability, and support their family through education. Alongside their classes, they receive one-to-one support, career advice, and guidance on further education and job opportunities. Their hard work has already started paying off. Five graduates have now stepped into new roles as volunteer teaching assistants, both at ACH and in local schools.

The graduation event was full of joy and celebration. Held over two days – one for the Syrian graduates and another for the Afghan graduates – the event reflected the level of hard work and dedication they have put in.

On the graduation day, the graduates shared more than just their achievements – they shared their culture. They prepared traditional dishes, invited all staffs to celebrate with them, and even took time to explain their cuisine. There was laughter, dancing, and heartful moments, as they expressed gratitude for their journey. As a special ‘thank you’, the students handed flowers to Lina, their tutor, in appreciation of her support throughout their journey.

Lina, who led the course, expressed how proud she was to see her students grow. “I feel positive and proud to see my students growing and happy to be part of their lives. It means so much to see them confident and ready for the future, more than they were when they commenced the course”.

For women thinking about joining the next cohort, she has some words of encouragement:

“This course is a great chance for you to improve your basic digital skills, boost your CV, open doors to new opportunities, socialise, and get to know each other”.

One of the most heart-warming outcomes of this course is the confidence these women have gained. They can now communicate professionally through emails, create presentations, and use digital tools with ease – skills that will help them build brighter futures.

A hearty congratulations to all our Graduates. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next! The new cohort is commencing soon so stayed tuned for updates.
