One of the most inspiring aspects of these talks is learning about the transferable skills that guest speakers have gained from their previous roles. These stories reinforce an important message: Anyone can be an environmentalist, regardless of their background. The diversity of experiences shows that there is no single path to making an impact in sustainability—it’s about what you bring from your unique journey.

At ACH, we’ve been bustling with activity, dedicated to delivering, refining, and innovating our Introduction to Green Employment course, our Accelerated Cooking and Entrepreneurship course alongside providing continued support to our clients through our Green Growth Accelerator Project.

Celia relocated to Bristol in 2023 and brought with her a wealth of experience as the founder of a cooking school and a seasoned cookery teacher from Hong Kong. With over seven years of experience, she has a passion for cooking. “I love cooking, sharing my recipes, mixing and matching different ingredients with a twist of traditional food.”

ACH is committed to assisting refugee and migrant-led (RML) businesses to be more environmentally sustainable and provide extensive business support towards achieving this.

We’re proud partners alongside Ambition Lawrence Weston, Bristol Disability Equality Forum, Heart of BS13, Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust, and Up Our Street.

We are extremely excited to announce that ACH Bristol has been named as one of six community partners on a Bristol Green Capital Partnership-led programme to take action and tackle climate change.
