Celebrating Our Resilient Clients in Coventry

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting a fantastic group of individuals to celebrate their achievements. These clients have demonstrated remarkable determination and drive on their journey toward empowerment, and they have succeeded in their training and volunteering endeavours. The celebration was truly remarkable, leaving all of us filled with joy and a profound sense of accomplishment.

The event was graced by representatives from the Coventry council; Dilshad Khdhir, Office Manager, ACH Coventry; and Nevinder Ram, Operations Manager, Himilo, ACH’s training subsidiary, who presented the award certificates and delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of embracing training and volunteering opportunities, and continuously striving for personal and professional growth.

One of the highlights of the event was hearing from Hassan, a client who excelled in his volunteer work experience program. Despite facing obstacles, he exhibited unwavering determination and perseverance. Hassan’s journey is a testament to the indomitable spirit of resilience and the remarkable potential that lies within every individual, regardless of background, race, or culture.

Hassan expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate ACH for helping us integrate into a new society and ultimately find our desired jobs."

The celebration ended with lots of refreshments, laughter, and most importantly, a renewed sense of belonging.
