South West Business Shows
ACH is more than just a housing provider - with our training arm Himilo offering an extensive range of courses aimed at the wider community, and our work with employers changing the way businesses recruit staff - we offer many more services than just housing.
To really promote the services we provide for businesses, we have recently attended two business shows. These were both ‘Get Connected’ business expos, one in Bristol and one in Bath.
Bristol Business Expo 2018
Held at ‘We the Curious’ on the 28th February 2018, the Get Connected Bristol Business Expo was the first business show we attended this year. The location of the show was fantastic with it being in the centre of Bristol, right next to the Harbourside. This led to it being a busy and productive day for us with some great companies exhibiting and a steady flow of footfall from the public and other business attendees.
It was interesting to see the diverse nature of the companies exhibiting and we made some great connections on the day.
Bath Business Expo 2018
The Get Connected Bath Business Expo 2018 was held at the grand location of the Bath Assembly Rooms on the 16th March 2018. We operate predominantly in Bristol; however, we also want to work with businesses in Bath to provide them with training courses and recruitment opportunities. This was the perfect occasion for us to test the water there.
We had a good day talking to various businesses and the public. It was great to see such a presence of Bath councillors on the day and also some familiar faces from the Bristol Business Expo!
Business Showcase South West May 2018
Throughout 2018 we will continue to actively attend business shows to get our name out there within the business community. Our next show will be the Business Showcase South West on the 16th May, at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol. We attended their October 2017 event and were impressed by its size and organisation.
