On September 30, we celebrate International Podcast Day, a global occasion dedicated to highlighting the impact of podcasting in sharing stories, knowledge, and diverse experiences. At ACH, we're proud to join in this celebration with our very own podcast series, Wisdom from the Global Majority, created in collaboration with the University of the West of England (UWE).
Podcasting is a powerful platform for connection, and transcending boundaries to bring diverse voices from around the world. For us at ACH, it’s more than just storytelling; it’s about fostering a brighter future for refugees and migrants by amplifying their voices.
What Is Wisdom from the Global Majority?
Our podcast series, produced in partnership with UWE, provides a dedicated space for our clients to tell their stories. Through their lived experiences, we hear firsthand about the challenges they have faced and the perspectives they have developed while finding their way in a new environment. At the same time, we also witness their successes and happiness. The episodes feature entrepreneurs sharing their journeys of starting businesses, learners highlighting the power of education for integration, support workers giving testimonies about the vital assistance ACH provides to tenants, and much more.
