IAG Level 2 Christmas Meal

Celebrating with our learners

Learner feedback

The 19th of December was the final lesson for our IAG level 2 learners. To celebrate they went for a meal at Glens Cafe in St Pauls Learning Centre.

The course has been running since the 3rd October 2018, and during this time the learners have covered a variety of topics including communications skills, benefits and how to provide an impartial and non-discriminatory service.

The learners have all fed back how useful they have found this course and as well as learning a lot about the subject they have also felt that they have personally learned more about living in a multicultural community. Discussions were often held about how we can address discrimination and racism and how we can best support our diverse communities, with people sharing their own individual thoughts and feelings on the subject in a constructive and open way.

One learner stated that the course had felt like 'family' and others said that it was the highlight of their week.
