Team-building days out for ACH staff

June 2019 saw staff team-building days taking place in Bristol and the West Midlands, as we take stock of what we have accomplished in the past year and look forward to what the future holds for ACH. We are keen to always give our dedicated staff time out of the office to spend with other teams and have some fun with all staff

First up was the West Midlands day on 13th June in Sutton Coldfield, where our Birmingham and Wolverhampton teams came together to learn about change management.

This was followed by team-building activities, where luckily the rain held off! Teams were selected, and a competition held consisting of archery, axe throwing and Segway riding.

The following week saw the Bristol team-building event take place on World Refugee Day at a hotel on the outskirts of Bristol. This time the morning session consisted of learnings around project management but were once again followed by teams being selected and a competition being held consisting of archery, axe throwing and Segway riding.

Both team-building days were fantastic, and everyone really enjoyed getting to spend some time with colleagues out of the office for some friendly competition. Thanks to our CEO, Fuad, for continually encouraging relationships and teamworking to build at ACH.

ACH Birmingham trip to Theme Park

ACH West Midlands recently enjoyed a day out at the Drayton Manor Theme Park.  Our ACH Birmingham office organised a company function to the Theme Park to reward our hardworking staff on the 27th July 2018. Majority of our staff members from the Bristol, Birmingham and Wolverhampton offices attended our fun day out to break free from their daily work routine.

Valuing our staff

People are key to the work we do at ACH – both the people we work with and the people who work for us. With that in mind, we have recently held annual appraisals and role evaluations and have also taken our staff out on a fun day for team building.
