'Get that job!' workshops

Recently, our weekly Job Club was closed during August in order for us to make some important changes to the way we run Job Club, which will inevitably benefit more members of the community. We have employed a new member of staff, Jack, whose main role is to coordinate and run our Job Club in Bristol. He has hit the ground running and made a huge impact already.

One of the main changes to Job Club is the introduction of another weekly session called ‘Get that job!’. These sessions are held every Thursday at our St Pauls Training Centre. They differ slightly from the normal Job Club format as they are bookable workshops which will cover various topics each week. Topics include CV writing and job applications, with some sessions also aimed at meeting employers in the local area. The aim of these sessions is to provide a more structured and informative approach where attendees can learn valuable skills to help them with their job search.

You can find more information on our Job Club drop-in and ‘Get that job!’ workshops here. Alternatively, you can email Jack on jack.hinchliffe@ach.org.uk.
